July 30, 20. Cory was just a normal dude living a normal life. He was stuck living with his parents (who made it a point that they were quite sick of him) due to not having any income. He'd recently abandoned college where he was trying to get an engineering degree and focus on just...getting a job so he could get out of the crappy situation. However, nobody would hire him. He'd been trying for nearly a year in vain when he was suddenly offered a job at a pretty famous amusement park (basically Disney Land). While he was suspicious, he was also desperate. The offer turned out to be real, by no small miracle. Before he ever got to show up to the park, something strange happened

One day, he just woke up on a long path leading from the parking lot to the amusement park. It was totally deserted and if he tried to walk back to the parking lot, he'd make no progress. He eventually had to give up and walk towards the park itself. It was clearly locked up as if it hadn't opened for the day yet, but things unlocked for him and swung open on their own. For just a second, his first view of the park showed it splattered in blood, but that hastily vanished. An announcer came in on the ticket booth speakers welcoming him and congratulating him on his new job. The guy wouldn't answer any questions in a helpful manner, though, and quickly disconnected

Corduroy quickly learned he was trapped in...whatever this was. The park would remain empty in hours it should be, but would populate with white, blank mannequins during opening time. These would be posed around as one would expect, functioning both as staff and guests. They didn't really move, but would readjust their position every few minutes as if they'd just skipped some frames. The figures would, for the most part, act as if he was invisible. Despite being 'on the job', he didn't have to do anything. Sure, he couldĀ operate rides or shops, but it would be wasted time. Things the mannequins interacted would react in the same skippy, bad animation fashion without interference

He was, of course, quite eager to leave amusement park hell dimension. However, once he was in the park, it wasn't really about letting him out. And he kept catching sight of blood and bones... He got the impression someone (maybe many someones) had been here before him and met an ill fate. While dodging 'guests' and trying to figure out a plan, he still had to take care of himself. He'd have to find places to sleep at night (that weren't too creepy to do so....) and food to eat. Initially, this wouldn't be a problem, but supplies did not restock. He was overall on a time limit to get out of here before he starved. Or worse. Sometimes the mannequins would act out of turn, like they were trying to hitĀ him? And things would malfunction or swerve at him. It quickly became clear that he'd need to be on his toes
