Kyo is the only child of a noble family. Unofficially that is, he was born out of wedlock and put into foster care to save his parent's prestige. He remained in the system for 9 years until both perished in an accident. He was listed as the sole heir and inherited their penthouse and wealth

Rappers are popular in Tokyo, that’s where he first picked it up and started developing his style until it was good enough to be performed. He lived alone until being accepted in an academy that trains future idols. He's part of a person group where he sings and does the rap bits.

Since the influence of Hypmic groups have rebranded rap as something dangerous, few idol groups have rappers and it makes them stand out. He is interested in the street battles and personal styles but not in joining a group, thinking he'd rather face off with his own skill than try to hide behind someone else. He's confident in his abilities as a lyricist and rapper.

He’s not part of a crew but holds the title of "Prince of the Red Light" which is passed along. He participated in a lot of street battles and is well-known in his district. He got the title by beating the previous "King" (the mayor, a retired rapper), so he has a lot of symbolic power despite it all being pretty new to him.

He's in college now, but has considered dropping out to focus on his role as a Prince.
