Remiel was a guardian angel who got caught up in some…rather unsavory shenanigans with some humans. He was caught by the council of angels or whatever and just barely got out of getting exiled. He got to keep his wings but got demoted to being a messenger, relaying info from person to mystical being etc etc. He doesn’t mind this so much, but he does miss his old status.
