we might retcon and take mindfreer's mom out of the picture

strifegazer is about a little younger than moonwatcher, but aged terribly due to the stress of their visions. they harnessed their power into a profitable business but it had unhealthy afects on his homelife. strifegazer actively craps on nightwings which makes mindfreer feel a little "mmm yikes" because his only influence as a nightwing is how much they suck and thats why they need to stay far away from them, despite the fact that strifegazer has barely seen the differences being made in the kingdom. 

raised mindfreer on their own, accidentally putting the stress on his back to try carrying the smiles. strifegazer loves their son but accidentally negatively influenced them and made them feel like he's responsible for his loved ones' happiness, something they get around to acknowledging, and apologizes, improving their behavior to the point where theyre a healthier dragon and a better seer, letting themself lead into the better futures and being a better parent
