About
Romantic, nostalgic and gentle. Speaks in whispers. Doesn't like to say bad things about other people. Pecan is too nice, even with people who don't treat them well. They tend to avoid conflict and try to fix things, even during the worst fights. Sometimes Pecan dreams too big. They have high expectations about people, places, jobs, and pratically everything, which often leads to disappointment, once they notice others aren't as gentle as they expected.
Pecan loves reading fantasy and adventure books under the blankets or tucked in a comfortable armchair. They also love cooking and learning new recipes, specially baked goods like cinnamon rolls, bread, and homemade capuccino. Coffee shops are their favorite places to hang out. They collect McDonalds toys and other nostalgic things, and just being near Pecan can give one the feeling of longing for lost good times. They like hugging and cuddling, but only accepts physical contact from really close people. They need to bond emotionally with someone to be able to let others into their life and touch them. Once they get attached to someone, tho, they tend to get really caring and loving, even a little bit clingy at times.
Pecan is deeply related to childhood nostalgia, cottagecore, and witchery. They like to pratice spells, but isn't as skilled or tied to the magical world as their girlfriend, Eda. They like to train together, but Eda is one more for rituals and dealing with demonic beings, while Pecan likes to make spells from herb mixes, crystal cleansing, and other soft witchcraft. Pecan is more into the druidic style, and feels a strong connection with nature. Despite being apparently softer and innocent, Pecan knows the ways of dark magic well, and doesn't get scared or surprised whenever Eda is dealing with otherworldly entities.
Cold weather (rainy, snowy, foggy, and cold places in general) make Pecan really comfortable. They dislike super hot places. They also like to go camping, going on road trips, exploring the woods, fishing in cold lakes, attending to their garden and listening to indie songs (mostly unknown indies that you probably never heard of). Pecan also loves weightened blankets and anything related to being cozy.
Pecan would probably be the first person to volunteer to go out with you anywhere. They enjoy going out to grab groceries, going to coffee shops, shopping malls, and just generally hanging out. However, Pecan can't handle feeling pressured or being in crowded places, and if they feel that they're calling people's attention, they'll quickly get embarassed and leave.
Pecan likes to be called by they/them pronoums, and enjoys when people can't identify their gender. They may dress more girly or androgynous depending on the mood. They're a demisexual lesbian, and likes when their partner calls them "their girl" or other feminine pronoums. However, only their partner is allowed to call them like that.
Some say the little pine marten smells like woods and cinnamon. That might have something to do witht he fact that they're constantly out in the woods, or using scented candles.
Usually, Pecan wake up at around 5-6am to make coffee and hear the birds singing. It's their favorite time of the day besides dusk/sunset. The feeling of existing in those passing moments, the transitions between night and day makes them feel a little big melancholic, but belonging.
During autumn, Pecan goes outside to harvest hazelnuts and fish salmon. Sushi, honey, mushrooms, nuts and baked goods are some of their favorite foods.
Pecan also has the habit of sketching wild animals in the beloved sketchbooks they carry everywhere. While stargazing at night, they like to draw constellations and create names for them.
Little notes
- Pecan is afraid of the dark. They often search for Eda when they wake up in the middle of the night.
- An ambivert someone who can be more or less talkative depending on the occasion. If they're intimidated by new people, they will probably go silent and shell up.
- Also likes biking as a hobbie. They bike through the trails that lead to the city to get things from the market, or through the trails in the mountains.
- Dreams of visiting Japan someday. Pecan spends a lot of their time watching videos about Japan food and toy capsule machines.
- Absolutely loves Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing New Horizons. Pecan carries their switch everywhere.
Pecan ran away with Eda to live in a cottage, in the woods. Their family despises them for their orientation, and Pecan hasn't heard about them in years. If it wasn't for Eda, Pecan would probably be homeless by now. Both share a strong bond of family and mutual protection.
