Bright and bold, Nova is nothing short of .. unique. She's full of energy pretty much all of the time. You'll never have a dull day hanging out with Nova. However be careful, she might just end up being too much to handle. Her loud and obnoxious personality might get on some's nerves rather quickly even if she doesn't mean to. You'll have to tell her bluntly if she's annoying you because, Nova also doesn't understand subtlety. All in all, Nova is one of the rare times someone has a "what you see is what you get" personality. All she wants to do is have fun and she loves bringing people along for the ride!

Backstory

Nova belonged to a young boy who had a passion for space at a young age. He got her as a gift from a museum on a family trip and he loved her ever since. As the years went on however, the boy's love of space came and went but, his love for his childhood plush never did. His interests changed from science to music. He took music classes in school and even picked up a guitar of his own he saved up for so long with his allowance money. Nova got to watch as his confidence in his music skills and his own self grew and grew over the years and it's some of her favorite memories.

One day, the boy came home with a few other young teens each carrying with them their own instruments. They seemed to be his friends but, teased him for still having Nova. They said it was for girls and that he was some sort of sissy. He told them to shut up but, Nova could tell it genuinely hurt him a bit down inside from the look in his eyes. That day was the day her companion started a band. A band that would slowly but, surely take off. They posted songs online for free and began to grow an audience of people. Then they started to make coherent albums. Then the albums started costing money. He was absolutely ecstatic. By this point he was well into his adult years and it was so amazing to see him and his friend's hard work finally start to pay off.

It wasn't long after they had reached a certain amount of followers on social media that a music company picked them up. From there it was like he was living a completly different life. Now he had to leave to go on tours. As he was packing all of his belongings, he noticed Nova sitting on his nightstand. Just like she always did. He picked up the toy and gave a soft smile as he shoved the galaxy dog into his backpack and rushed out with his suitcase to the bus waiting outside. Nova was always something of a comfort to her companion, even if she didn't do much. It reminded him of a spark he always had. That spark to follow his dreams no matter how far away they seemed.

It was the night of their first big concert. At this point, Nova never left his backpack which was sitting backstage. Sure, the band had played for people before but, it was never this massive. So to say he was nervous was an understatement. His managers and bandmates just told him to suck it up. He'd do fine. Walking on stage, the lead looked out at the massive crowd and gulped. The song started okay but, he slowly started to mess up his placement of his fingers on his guitar. He was hitting wrong notes and the more he messed up the more his voice began to crack. Things went from passible to a disaster so fast, it gave him whiplash. On the TV in the lounge backstage, Nova could see everything. She felt this overwhelming desire to want to help him. She knew he was talented and if he just had someone there with him it would be okay!! In that instant, a flash of white overtook the entire room. Running through it, Nova on her newfound doll legs practically bolted to the stage. With a massive jump, she burst through the curtains that were behind the band, slid on her legs and ducked between her companions legs. She had seen them play so many times, she knew all of their songs by heart so, it was easy for her to take a strong grip on the microphone and continue the song where he left off. Of course, the man was completely stunned by what just happened. He looked at her with slackjaw, not knowing what to do or say. Nova turned around and gave him a wink and in an instant he could tell who exactly she was. His eyes practically sparkled in his realization. With the attention to Nova, it was much easier for him to finish the song normally and the crowd just thought this was all staged so, it was a complete sucess.

Nova toured around with her companion and his friends for a while. Telling them all to suck it for calling him a wuss for having her for so long. "Without him keeping me, you would have been doomed!!", is how she would always joke with them. Eventually though, Nova wanted to do things on her own. She wanted to experience life and everything it had to offer. Her companion gave her a cellphone and will visit her in Shop Street every so often if he's not busy.

• Nova is pansexual!
• Nova's flavor is obnoxiously sweet sugar.
• She always wears her eyepatch and collar! They are not optional! They were given to her as a gift from her companion. She does have different versions of them to match different colored outfits she has.
• Nova can play guitar, synth, and drums but, guitar is her go-to instrument.
• Nova has no idea what an "inside voice" is. She's constantly loud.
