 As a young cub Malalika grew up hearing only one side of the story of her birth, never the side of where Barakoa and Haraka caught Chisai cheating on each other with the opposite. That was till she finally was able to persuade Chisai and the den mother to let her and Haki visit her siblings, reluctantly they agreed sending the two off for the summer where Barakoa was vacationing at. But summers came and gone just like her childhood. When she was old enough she decided that it was time to choose and she chose well, she chose her mom and her siblings over her father as well as to make Chisai’s life a living hell as revenge. But that wasn’t enough when she discovered that Lanitra and Kuoana existed. After learning their stories she trained with them with an eager desire of personal excellency and finding her missing brother Haki.

What Mal never knew was that Haki was long gone… Her heart ached but that didn’t stop her from writing to what was left of her litter mates, she quickly penned Mkuu and Neema to check on them as well as mum. Mal’s heart leapt with joy after receiving correspondence. But sadly that wasn’t enough for her, nothing ever was anymore so she moved on once again to a pride that trained assassins. She excelled over months passing and began to take up targets. Mal was grateful for the means of getting food after every successful mission but it was frustrating that her father still wasn’t her target. So Malalika left once again, traveling far and wide before stopping at an old gypsy lioness’ tent. In hopes of actually tracking her father she bartered for a potion and guzzled it in front of the creature. But Mal was tricked and deposited down the fiery rungs of El Korongo’s ladder. Luckily Hannibal was her first ever greeter and managed to sway Chuki Safi into letting her leave the place to contact her family as well as to get Chisai as long as she had Hannibal with her at all times.
