Very silly, sociable and excitable.
Zantheus loves to meet new people, and especially loves to hear their stories- be they epic tales of wonder or simply a description of this mornings' breakfast.
He behaves in a very bird-like manner; tapping his beak on things, bobbing his head up and down when excited, or even back talking.
His speech isn't too good; he learns from what he hears. It would be difficult to have an in-depth conversation with him. Besides this he is an excellent listener.

Zantheus has a rather wide wingspan, allowing him to glide and soar above the trees he calls home as much as he pleases.
His head, neck and back are covered in fluffy but messy feathers.
He seems determined to walk upright on his back legs like a person, rather than use his wings for balance like a normal bird, so he is usually found waddling around in a comical manner.
He uses his large beak to crush nuts, seeds or tear into tree bark to get at the grubs within.
