(subject to change cuz i'm kinda just merging together what i already had with new ideas)
Backround story:
-There's a Solar System called "TRAP" (consisting of 7 colorful planets, where pre-reincarnation helion and his siblings was apart of
-They were some of the most powerful beings in the galaxy, however exactly that starting to turn them against each other (and maybe a secondary threat/corruption that started nabbing at their sanity? kind of like the mara in honkai but up to debate)
They started killing each other off or sealing each other, some went missing, some died, some just got sealed away and we dont know where they are
"Helion" absorbed the fragments of his dead siblings, which was maybe his plan all along, however [for some unknown reason] he managed to get sealed away [maybe by other civilisation banding together to stop him from absorbing the whole solar system they were in-
His motivation was that he "wanted to get rid of the grief and sadness all this fighting brought upon the galaxy" but you know like his mind was already corrupted so his "way" of dealing with it was to just wipe out entire planets (and by extension his siblings) so he was just very insane idk
current:
anyways fast forward, somehow somewhen he managed to get sealed away and since they are planets, planets usually get "reborn" when they "supernova"/die to create other stars, he released the fragments of his dead siblings who scattered across the universe and started raining down on other planets
the fragments hold split power of those beings and are highly sought after in the galaxy (i'd like to think theres probably stuff like stellaron hunters and galaxy bandits and whatever) and they ofc followed the energy trail those fragments left behind, some happened to scatter onto earth, which is what caused all of this chaos
Aliens started invading earth to get ahold of those crystals, humans who came in touch with those fragments/crystals started mutating in ways where they turned into monstrosities and died shortly after, or where they went into a symbiose and turned into "parasites"
The Homonculi are instead purely made out of the crystal's dna, they have human forms but their "core" / "heart" is part of the fragment, so you remove the fragment, they die
this is probably also where they get those wild colors from
homonculi are very hard to create, they usually fall apart or have some errors
the humans quickly realized the power of the fragments and thats how they wanted to create those biological homonculi weapon in the first place to fight back and win back the earth.
Helion is the youngest / freshest experiment, however he does not seem to synergize alot with the crystal embed into him
His Fragment happens to be of the hold "Helion" which is like.. problematically rare and very destructive in nature
His "Error" is that he somehow feels human emotions (which is a sideffect from his actual ability: absorbing, since he absorbs emotions around him / or this could be a sideffect from the previous helion's actions where he "wanted to get rid of grief"
