Personality: Tries to hide how traumatized she is with an upbeat and cheery attitude. Tries to keep peoples spirits up but is secretly panicking constantly. Extremely well in stressful situations but tends to have panic attacks that she tries to keep away from everyone else. Doesn't like to be babied and wants to prepare people for the dangers of the war in the Mojave as well as she can. Secretly resents her decision to join the fight but doesn't want to ditch new soldiers to die. Likes to play gambling games, even though she's not much of a gambler herself. She likes the high stakes feel without the actual danger. Would love outdoorsey activities if she wasn't in the army. Doesn't like New Vegas proper as it's too loud and noisy.
Story: Hilda is from New California. She decided to join in the NCR's war against the Legion when she was young and was there during the first battle of Hoover Dam, where she ended up getting her scar. Hilda was then promoted to train new recruits and get new soldiers from accustomed to the airbase. She met Lin when Lin transferred from one base to another and the two eventually started dating. After the war, Hilda and Lin headed out to the northeast, wanting to leave the Mojave behind them.
