Profile
A Speed-Type swordfish Mobian who specializes in swimming and swordplay.
Some Details:
Physical
- Parry's outfit is not optional.
- Obviously he doesn't wear it if he's in the water, though.
- His nose is very pointy. Things have a tendency to get stuck on it.
- Parry goes everywhere with his sword. Sometimes this gets him into trouble.
- Parry's boots may or may not have laces or buckles; draw him with whatever boots you like, so long as they're black!
- The "whites" of Parry's eyes are not white; they should look a very pale or silvery blue.
- Although he calls himself a swordfish, Parry is a marlin.
- Swordfish just sounds cooler to him, plus it fits his swashbuckler aesthetic.
Personality
- Parry is very boisterous and charismatic.
- Sometimes this can come off as a little bit obnoxious.
- He thinks of himself as a Casanova sort; while he can be charming, his ego tends to directly undermine this.
- He is highly competitive, and is at his best when challenging himself against someone else.
- This can also make him a bit combative towards those who equal or surpass him in skill.
- As such, Parry is quite sensitive about his weaknesses.
- He hates idleness, and always has to have something physical to do.
- He has a tendency to tap his feet or drum his fingers when idle.
Universe-Specific
- Parry is a Speed-Type Mobian, using his aerodynamic shape and sharp nose to slice though air and obstacle alike.
- He isn't a Power-type, though; he can and has gotten his nose stuck in things he can't break.
- Parry is the first mate and second-in-command of Team Leviathan, a band of mercenary-pirates sailing a ship of the same name.
- He and the captain, Ark, are frequently at odds regarding who should be captain of the ship and the team.
- Parry's job on the team is to scout out targets on land and underwater, lead the breach onto other ships, and steer the Leviathan.
- When in possession of a Chaos Emerald, Parry becomes faster and more able to punch through objects.
- With enough emeralds, he can "swim" through the air, able to turn on a dime and essentially have the physics of a fish in water a few inches above the ground.
