Zaan (DnD Version)

Zaan is a nonbinary barbarian that makes a living on YouTube as a beauty guru. She's a half orc/half elf mix, but her orc genes come through a bit more strongly, as she has a muscular figure and stands at 6'9. Although nonbinary, she very heavily leans towards feminine fashion and styles, and usually uses she/her pronouns. However, she doesn't mind sometimes taking on a masculine look, it's just not her preference as of now.

Her subclass is the Path of the Zealot. She is a follower of Sune, the deity of beauty and love. She primarily focuses on the beauty aspect, although she secretly longs for love as well. However, she feels that she cannot obtain such a thing, due to a secret she keeps away from her fans. The thing is..she's actually dead. She's a revenant, a being who rose from the grave out of pure spite for the one who killed her. How did she die, you ask? Indirectly, from a DIY face mask a fellow YouTuber made, which went wrong and ruined her face. The actual cause was the heart attack she suffered after seeing the results of said face mask. She got better though! After about a week of decaying, she crawled out of her hastily buried grave. By that point, an ear, her eyes, and her nose were gone, along with most of the flesh on her rib cage. To make herself seem alive again, she uses fake eyes and prosthetics along with her makeup to compensate. 

She's always had anger issues, but after becoming a revenant, her anger has gotten a tad worse. Anytime her clothing or makeup is ruined, she flies off into a rage. To make matters worse, she has the tendency to grab nearby objects and use them as blunt force weapons. She's aware of these issues and tries to takes steps to keep herself calm, such as focusing on her makeup or looking at aesthetically pleasing things. This can make her come off as vain or rude, since she'll either be looking at herself or at her phone. 

Zaan's not very clever though. Her intelligence and wisdom are...much below average (8 INT, 6 WIS). She does have her moments, but most of the time she's pretty oblivious to what goes on outside her bubble. This isn't a new development, her brain is actually fully intact and free of decay. She's always been this way. In fact, she barely graduated from high school. The only reason she did was because of her friend, Bell, who helped her cheat on lots of her homework and a few tests. (If her teachers were aware, they were probably just lenient, because she was a popular football player during her school days.)

Despite not being bright, she excels in strength related activities and social interactions (20 STR, 18 CHA). As such, even though she usually has no idea what's happening, she can bluff or intimidate her way out of situations. Her effort to contain her anger has also led her to have a sharper tongue, in which she whips out very hurtful insults instead of physically tearing into someone. But if push comes to shove, she's gonna use her manicured stiletto nails to scratch a bitch.
