Misty's lineage dates back to the earliest known settlers of Etharia, her ancestors once staking claim to the southwestern coastline, before migrating north into what would be later called Easthallow. Establishing a positive symbiotic relationship with nature, Misty's predecessors only took what was needed, giving back to mother nature tenfold what was taken. Such ideas and sets of morals only persisted generation after generation, even after much of Easthallow's foundational members had migrated further into the continent to establish new settlements. Though centuries have passed since those crucial years of development, those who live in Easthallow still live by those ancient traditions, hoping to keep their relationship with the environment positive and beneficial. With these sets of codes in mind, Misty grew up to be a devout lover of mother nature, never taking more than she needed as those did way before her very existence.

Though living life this way had been ultimately beneficial for the members of Easthallow, other traditions also remained, which were much more restrictive for certain groups within their village. Women were restricted to the house and gardens, which Misty had been raised to obey. She grew up tending to her family's gardens with her mother and other sisters, as well as assisting with the cooking and cleaning of their house. Her sisters found such a lifestyle suffocating, leaving Easthallow the moment they were old enough to, despite the backlash they would receive from the village. Misty, however, never seemed to mind her life, enjoying the menial and methodical everyday chores. Her parents held her in high regard, boasting of how she will make a wonderful wife for a proper young gentleman who deserved her. Misty paid no mind to her parent's comments, doing what made her happiest- if she found someone, then so be it, but she was most definitely content with her solitary life.

That was until she found herself in the lively, vibrant town square of Aurelia, on her first trip away from home for crochet materials. She admired the way the women of the town carried themselves with almost contagious confidence, wearing bright and expressive clothing, laughing, and going to work without a care in the world. She felt inspired to do the same, buying a stylish outfit to treat herself, before heading home. Upon arriving home and wearing the outfit the next day around the house, her parents were horrified, demanding she remove the clothing in favor of more modest styles, and a switch finally flipped for the young woman. In a spur-of-the-moment decision, she fled Easthallow in the middle of the night, renting rooms at any inn she could find in her attempt to get as far away from her family as possible. By the end of the month, she found herself in Bloomwood, where she ultimately decided to plant her roots and start a brand new life, where she could live on her own terms. At present, Misty still enjoys the more domestic parts of life, though she challenges herself every day to meet new people and gather new insights and ways she can be her most authentic self.
