Alistair Vetle

Alistair's Childhood

 Alistair was born in large kingdom to parents Kanae and Gilroy Vetle. The two had been in the same adventuring party for a few years before they finally settled down together. Both were regarded as heroes, and they both took positions as royal advisors. As a result, Alistair grew up in a loving home with little to worry about. Although their parents were often busy, it was never neglectful. As Alistair grew, they were able to explore more into their identity, questioning gender roles, societal roles, and the like. Growing up, Alistair wanted to become a knight. However, after witnessing the corruption within the kingdom and the knights ranks, they discovered more about themself too. Their non-binary identity after not relating to either gender role, and their love of other people and cultures. They couldn't stand the inherent racism of the system, and vocalized their points as well as they could. Thankfully, after some time, their parents understood, allowing Alistair to leave the nest in search of their own adventure. Alistair's rapier from that time was his father's old blade, as well.

Traveling and the Lizardfolk

 The very first adventure Alistair stumbled upon would be living with a tribe of Lizardfolk for about a month or so. After sparing one's life, the proving to another that they were a formidable fighter, the Lizardfolk accepted Alistair to stay with them. This is when Alistair began their journal too- keeping a short record of all that had happened. They noted that while Lizardfolk do not experience friendship or kindness the way other races do, their way of life wasn't really "lesser" because of it. And despite how Lizardfolk "were," they allowed Alistair to not only live and hunt with them, but they made him a weapon as well. Now, Alistair travels with a second rapier made with enchanted wood, but hard as steel.

The Jungle of Silver

 Some time after parting with the Lizardfolk, Alistair moved into the nearby jungle, getting entangled with a strange situation. They met a few other adventurers, helped to solve a mystery, and was able to save a community of Pixies, as well as a couple of Silver Dragons. The Present...

 Now, Alistair is still traveling the world. (Basically, if I can use them in a campaign or solo game, this is where the past lines up ;3)
