"Codi is tan, of average height, muscular, brown-eyed, and has dark colored hair, with one streak she dyed only a few days before the apocalypse. Pre-apocalypse, she has much shorter hair with completely shaved sides and enjoyed a casual fashion sense. Post-Apocalyptic, she gained a much tougher exterior, preferring to wear leather jackets, bandanas, biker goggles, beanies, and camo cargo pants. She is also often seen with red face paint on her cheeks and pronounced eye bags due to lack of sleep. Codi has two helix piercings on her right ear."

Backstory:

"Codi, born as Amaia Anne Owens, was born on 4/10/1995 to a caucasian man and Hispanic woman in (State TBA). At the time, her parents were happily married. She had a little sister named Rosia a few years later, who she cared strongly about. Codi and her mother were particularly close, and she taught her how to speak Spanish, while her father was too occupied with work to spend much time with his family. When she was 14, her parents got a divorce, following her mother losing custody due to 'unstable' living conditions, forcing Codi and Rosia to live with her father. He quickly grew neglectful and abusive, blaming it on work stress. When she was only 17, Codi managed to move out into her apartment, allowing her sister to live with her to get away from their abusive father. She also legally changed her name a year later, when she turned 18. Though she didn't tell anyone, she made money by working as an underground boxer. One day, while at work, Codi got a call that her little sister had gotten into an accident. She had gotten run over by a drunk driver, putting her into a coma and likely wouldn't survive. Overwhelmed with grief, she visited her every day until she passed. Soon after, Codi got her rose tattoos to remember her. This is also around the time Codi got her dog, Apollo, adopting him from a shelter. He had lived a life of dogfighting, but she saved and trained him. Interestingly, the shelter is where she met her now ex-girlfriend, Amanda, who was volunteering at the time. When the outbreak first started, Codi was talking with her girlfriend on the phone. Sirens started blaring, followed by the army knocking on her door and forcing her to evacuate. Leaving with only the clothes on her back and her dog. The 'sanctuary', as the guards called it, was overrun with frantic people. As the outbreak hit, the government was not prepared. Soon, the 'sanctuary' fell, becoming overwhelmed with the bitten. Codi was forced to escape before the bitten killed her and Apollo. Since then, she and Apollo wander the city, simply trying to live. To this day, she still doesn't know if her ex-girlfriend lived or not."
