Calandré is from a small variety of Fae that are typically associated with human mythos of Pixies. These fae are known to be crafty, artistic, and festive. While they mostly go without clothes, they fashion elaborate outfits out of items from their natural surroundings for their frequent cultural celebrations.
Fae have existed long before human civilization, in the same world has humans but hidden by a veil between dimensions. Fae, being magical being, have the ability to cross through the veil, and it is a frequent part of their culture for some to go through dimensions to the human world, to observe and document and at times even influence their culture. The human myths of fae come from ones who were found out.
Calandré is living as a human college student, majoring in fashion design. They love researching, designing, and tailoring elaborate projects that reflect different periods of human fashion, and wearing and mixing them up as if the were modern day outfits.
Calandré is in love with a girl in their classes named Claire. Claire is friends with Cal, enjoys their company, and is attracted to them, but she is in a relationship with a Demon going by Daniel. Calandré tries their best to help Claire with her self-destructive nature so she can stop dating a literal demon and recover her life, because beyond being attracted to her, Cal genuinely wants Claire to be happy and healthy.
