EYMA

• A communication device made of the copied intelligences' of several government test subjects and injected back into their brains
• Only fully exists when being used
• Going absolutely bonkers now that using them causes their hosts PTSD
• Trying to corrupt the brains of its hosts by giving them mental illness

• Physical form glitches out when they're less mentally stable
• Can appear like a ghost on screens that the hosts are looking at, make a the cell phone scary to use

The EYMA is a sapient communication device implanted in the brains of Core Subjects. The EYMA exists as a conscious entity that analyzes all of the core subjects thoughts at all times, and can transmit thoughts between these brains on command, or on its own in emergency situations. This is insanely stressful of a task for a living being to preform, especially considering how traumatized the core subjects are, and the fact that some have literal angels and demons in their brains makes things even harder.
When the core subjects escape the facility, only 4 of them survive. Meaning EYMA had to experience every brutal death, and has completely corrupted. The EYMA wants nothing more than to destroy its own programming and die so that the experiences of dying that eternally feel will end.
After the demon in Saffire's brain became dormant, the EYMA altered her brain to be able to see them when they look at reflective screens. This is the first time any of the core subjects learned the EYMA was sapient. Now all 4 of them have to constantly try to talk the EYMA down every time it tries to corrupt their brains and die.
