Adderstrike is a stand-offish, ambitious molly who has a hard time putting others first. She likes to charge into things head-on and is convinced she can do everything herself. Confident in her abilities (some say overconfident), she's the first to challenge and the last to fall.

Adderstrike is a loyal warrior, who had a normal upbringing and grew into the ambition her father pushed her towards. She's brash and can be harsh with her judgement, but ultimately loves her clanmates. Especially pebblefur, of whom she fell in love with. Unfortunately, her ambition got ahead of her relationship with pebblefur, and the two broke it off before they could much older. As pebblefur grew older and moved on, Adderstrike did not. And still holds resentment, not against pebblefur, but against Oriolenose, of whom she believes stole away her love.

Adderstrike is the first to learn of pebblefur's troubles, particularly with the manipulative oriolenose lording over them both, she is struck with rage at the thought of pebblefur being trapped, and subsequently bends herself on killing oriolenose. Although she does not succeed, she does rekindle her relationship with pebblefur, before subsequently dying while saving pebblefur's life from oriolenose. In the end, she knew what mattered, not her ambition or rank, but the ones she loved.
