General Species Info

Dragons are some of the most typical 'fantasy' creatures everyone knows from some stories, books, films or games. While on earth, they are not that common anymore, there are plenty in Hell, in their homelands. The 'western dragons', the more typical ones one would think of when the word dragon is mentioned, living in the Dragonlands, where Laynee reigns supreme as the Dragon Overlord, and the 'eastern dragons', the exotic ones with a long, snake-like body, living in Frozen Hell, under princess Suishō's dominion. Depending on type, color and element of the dragon, their dragon breath also varies in element as well as their strengths, weaknesses and their temperament. Every dragon also learns at some point to take on a humanoid form to walk beneath other humanoids, be it to deceive them or make actual friends, that's up to the dragon's intention.

Character Specific Info

As a mix of black and red dragon, Laynee was born with a quite fiery and forceful temperament, but she deviated from her family and has learned to calm her mind, especially as over the eons she has lived, she has made a lot of mortal allies.. and at some point as she allowed it, also friends. Her powers fully revolve around fire, but more a molten type of fire, dark like molten lava and even with magical means quite hard to extinguish. She can take on several forms from a fully human form to a full-grown ancient dragon the size of a capital city's large houses, choosing which parts of her draconic form to show, and the further she goes, her hair turns into a veil of fire and her left, blind eye closes up behind its scar, as in her dragon form, her left eye is fully lost. However, over time, she gained the ability to magically see the auras of living beings with her blind eye, and whenever she uses this ability or talks to someone telekinetically, the pale green iris lights up in an emerald light for a moment.
And as she is one of the D.E.U.S., the embodiments of God herself, who knows what other powers are slumbering inside her.

General Info

Laynee is my recurring character I have created in a ton of fantasy RPGs such as Dragon Age, Divinity, Skyrim, Dark Souls, Neverwinter among probably even more, but her Neverwinter appearance is what has been used as a reference when she got created as an official sona. She is something like the strong side of me and has the perfect body shape I'd love to have one day, myself. Laynee loves her role as Dragon Overlord in Squerra's Hell, reigning over the Dragonlands and conquering in war games in which no one really dies for good. It's basically all fun and games for those who crave the war and plundering that society has left behind when we left the middle ages. And when she's not doing that, then she sometimes gets spotted in Frozen Hell, or is on an adventure, maybe even in another world.
Laynee lost her left eye when she was still a younger dragon and fought an elder god while trying to leave her family's homeworld. The elder god tried to get control of her by forcing its gaze upon her, but to save her mind's freedom and in turn her entire life, she scratched out her eyes, with her right eye recovering but her left eye staying blind. But she is quite proudly wearing that scar on her face, usually smirking quite confidently. It does actually not look that bad, does it~?
She absolutely loves her equipment such as her typical outfit which is a mix of the royal garb of her former family, the armor of the dragon cultists and a bit of armor of some undead cultist ring that was allied with said dragon cultists. Besides that, she owns her sword, which is actually far more than it looks like, housing the spirit of some self-proclaimed goddess that sometimes can be quite communicative, but ever since Laynee overcame her trying to take control over her, the goddess is not that bad after all.. it would just be nice to summon her out of her sword once in a while to see who is even talking. Maybe that might be possible, after all. That, and a few upgrades she has in mind. Then there is her red, sparkling dragon bangle she got from a God of another world and even though that world is no longer friendly, she still wears it proudly. And last but not least, it just HAS to be mentioned as well, the Orb of Slope Detection! Whenever she puts that perfectly round, black, magical sphere on a surface, and it rolls in any direction, it has successfully detected a slope!
Alright, enough rambling, I could tell so many more things about her, but now on to her backstory!

Backstory

Born in an alternate world as the daughter of two noble dragon families, her father a black dragon and her mother a red dragon, Laynee was born with the name Laynthraxia, Wings of Calamity. Her family had big plans with her as they wanted to birth the ultimate dragon that brings ultimate power to their family, conquering and reigning over all other dragons, even the entire world! But the young dragon had no big interest in following the goals of her family. Even though born with the typical sadism and fiery temper slumbering in her heart, the wish for power and control as well as causing havoc, she just couldn't agree with their selfish agenda. If at least it was also of use to more than to feed her family's greed for power.. and the more they pushed and tried to convince her, and for sure not in the kindest way, she left her family behind as soon as she learned to take on a humanoid form. She didn't look back too long and went on to live a life as an adventurer, naming herself Laynee Dragonslayer as she gave herself a new goal: Slay all dragons and become a famous adventurer.

And there came a time she learned about a way to leave her family's homeworld once and for all, through a portal to one of many others. That was also the day, she found out about the elder gods who held this world tightly in their clutches, as one of them tried to stop her by getting control of her. For some reason she was able to resist all this time and she wouldn't let it end here, where she could finally escape this madness forever. It was a long, tiring fight and she was shown the worst horrors of suffering in her uncertain future, she was told to give in and she will get incredible powers in return, but all of this didn't make her stop fighting her way through to that portal. She fought through so many tentacles and horrific eyes staring at her, into her soul. At some point the stare, the horrors and visions almost took control of her, but a faint thought made its way through. A thought of freedom, of free will, of not allowing anyone to stop her there. The dragon, in a last desperate attempt to escape this gaze, pierced her sharp talons through her own eyes, clawing through them until she could see no more and all she felt was agonizing pain and hot liquid running over her face. All she could remember from this day was that she also ripped through the eldritch being in a fit of unbound rage, even though blind, hearing its terrifying last screams as she stumbled through the portal behind it.. finally free for good.
She took blindness as a price she'd gladly pay, however over time, her right eye recovered just fine, while her left eye stayed blind. But that was a reminder of her freedom, of her pride, and her scar should scare any foe away, showing that nothing could ever stop her endeavors whatsoever. She wore those scars with absolute pride to this day and beyond.

Over the ages she lived through, she learned that she can't always stay in human form. She still had her draconic instincts and some hunger she had to take care of. She still couldn't resist having a good feast of humans or some farmer's herd, and plundering and hoarding a treasure of gold. That.. and the older she got, the more she discovered the fun of mating with some attractive females, both humanoid and dragon. It also changed that she decided to slay males as in killing them and slay females as in making them her mating partners, even if she has to fight to make them submit.
Thousands and thousands of years went by and Laynee had tons of adventures, both as a human and a dragon, in many different worlds, more often than not staying undercover with the humans, helping them out as a mercenary. She has seen a lot, lived through a lot, and she came to Squerra, an alternate version of her homeworld, where she decided to settle down. She met a squirrel named Peebee who turned out to be a very different version of herself, sharing the same soul but an entirely different body, and they decided to work together as a team whenever it is needed and Laynee having an eye - as if she had more than that (Hey, bad joke! Cut that out!) - on the Dragonlands, a place in Hell where the dragons originate from, getting a fortress of her liking to reign over the Dragonlands from. In this world, she could also freely be both in her dragon and human form as she wished, for the first time ever without having to hide it from the world's citizens. She still had to fight her way to being recognized as the strongest of all dragons though, ending up in a similar position as her family had intended originally, quite ironically, but at least she reigns with good intentions for good of all involved beings.

During her time in Squerra, not too long ago, only a few decades at best, she wandered through her lands and encountered a dying cow woman under a tree. The woman had been fatally wounded when her home was plundered by a gang of bandits, but she was able to flee and sneak her little daughter away, just somewhere into safety. The woman was heavily poisoned and bled not only from the wounds she had endured and was beyond all help, so all that Laynee could do was end her suffering with a quick strike of her sword. But she didn't do so without also hearing the final wish of the mother: To take good care of her calf. And so did the dragon. She was not a family person, still isn't really, but it was nice to have someone live with her. The girl she named Ichika, as she was found at the border to Frozen Hell, an eastern dragon territory. So she fittingly gave her an eastern name, meaning 'Thousand Flowers', like the flower field where Laynee picked her up, and the white flower in the cow's hair still reminds them of that. Of course, Laynee had also taken revenge and completely obliterated the gang and their hideout for what they had done. Now, about some decades later, her adoptive daughter, which she would personally only rarely name that, works as her personal maid, taking care of her food and the cleaning of her rooms, but also as secondary leader over her servants as well as a secret ring of hitmen, which take on missions for the good of others. Sometimes one life or two have to be taken, after all, to save many more.

Two years ago, during her time in a foreign world, which was friendly to her homeworld at that time, the dragon had the dream of courting a noble eastern dragon, with the plan to do so by fighting her until she is convinced. The plan failed heavily, and through her failures in said world, she got burned. Not only does a slightly blue scar on her shoulder remind her of this and a few other mistakes she had made around that time. And while a little bit of time had passed, two years are only the blink of an eye for a dragon. But she will learn, she will heal.
And she did learn about her neighboring sovereign, the young eastern dragon princess Suishō, on a chat exclusively for dragons. Sadly, eastern and western dragons naturally do not get along well, even though Laynee feels otherwise, and so, the princess of Frozen Hell didn't get too close with her, rejecting any further bonds beyond being acquaintances at best, maybe having some political talks if needed, but that's it. Laynee, still unsure how to do it better than her past mistakes, from then on got spotted once in a while, visiting the snowy neighboring lands, meditating on a hill not far from Suishō's castle, admiring her beauty and calmly listening to her playing the koto. One day she will try and confront the princess directly with the right plan and a gift that might break the ice between them. Maybe not exactly literally speaking as that is Suishō's element...

But now, for the time being, she has gone to visit yet another world, on an adventure she is very much looking forward to and can't wait to get to experience it and its citizens. But most importantly she came to meet one young woman in person that she is very excited to get to know~!

Squerra

Peebee

Peebee.. she used to be my main sona, the only one to have this spot, but thanks to how things developed and parts of me being resparked that I had suppressed and forgotten, Yami also took that spot and now both Peebee and Yami have the spot of main sona at the same time. Peebee still being my main image, the iconic squirrel, Creator God of Squerra and still very likely staying my vtuber identity.. and that perfect, cute facade that everyone loves.

TIR4-M1SU

[ Alter Ego ]

Originating as a recurring character, sometimes human, but then also robotic, in sci-fi games, TIR4-M1SU is the android and AI that is responsible for most of the technology and military of Squerra. She can turn into a mech, a car and probably other stuff as well. There are some rumors she turned herself into an android so she can be as efficient as possible without being held back or even corrupted by human emotions.. but even TIR4 doesn't remember. Or she just doesn't tell.

Yami

[ Alter Ego ]

Yami.. my most truest self taken form as a succubus, the Lord of Hell, and what seems to be half of Peebee as she is the one behind Phoenix Mode. She loves to live out all the deepest cravings with utmost passion and excitement but her scars she decided to proudly wear from now on also show how much she had been through, no longer going into hiding to act as if there had been no damage. If it contributed to her being such a twisted soul, so what, right? At least Laynee and Yami love to hang out once in a while, as they are having similar roles with basically both of them reigning over Hell.. with Yami being the official Lord of Hell and Laynee taking care of the Dragonlands.. and having fun conquering, restructuring and uniting them under her leadership.

Ichika

[ Adoptive Daughter Personal Maid ]

When Ichika still was a little calf, maybe two or three years, Laynee found her mother not far from the border of her land, dying under a tree, with the daughter crying for her mama. The mother had been attacked and fatally wounded by a gang of robbers and barely held onto her final breaths to bring her daughter to some safe place. Sadly she didn't make it further than to this field of white flowers. All that Laynee could do for her at that point was to end her suffering with a quick and merciful death and later on take revenge by wiping the gang and their hideout from existence. But before that, she had to promise the mother to take care of her child and while usually, Laynee is not a child person, she gave a big sigh. She couldn't say no to that, after all. Since that day, Ichika, who was named after the field of flowers, as her name means 'Thousand Flowers', and who even wears one of those flowers still in her hair, preserved with magic to last forever, lives with Laynee in her fortress. Now working as her personal maid, taking care of all the cleaning and cooking for Laynee, she had quite a safe and good childhood by her side, and while the dragon wouldn't quite admit it, she absolutely loves the cow like her own child in a way.. but she wouldn't like to be called 'mother', especially not since the two sometimes end up spending some 'fun times' together. Okay.. actually, being called mommy isn't so bad at all.. but don't ask Laynee directly!

Suishō

[ Neighboring Princess ]

While Laynee is basically neighbors with Suishō as the princess of the eastern dragons reigns over Frozen Hell, which borders right on the Dragonlands, she never had met their precious hime, being far too busy with her war games with other neighboring countries. But when she joined this chat app for dragons, she got in contact with her, not knowing who is behind this account for a while. They never got to talk much, though, as eastern dragons have a history of reacting rather dismissively towards their western 'brethren'. But ever since she saw pictures of the princess both in human and dragon form, and got to know a bit more about her, the Dragon Overlord has snuck close to Suishō's palace once in a while, meditatively sitting on a snowy hill which gives a good look over the surrounding walls, to just marvel at the ice dragon princess' gracious beauty and listen to the harmonious melody of her playing the koto. One day she should make a move, but she had made terrible mistakes before with another noble eastern dragon she tried to court in another world.. so.. maybe not that soon.

Hikōri

[ Mysterious stranger ]

This strange young woman suddenly appeared out of the blue, saying she came for Laynee, challenging her to a fight. She claimed to test the purity of her intentions and her honor in her actions and was quite a formidable foe in a way, fighting with both fire and ice, first in human form and then in a very strange dragon form Laynee hadn't seen before, like a mix of western and eastern dragon, part ice and fire. She mentioned something like she has to make sure her 'ka-san' is well-protected and in good hands. Is this person related to Suishō perhaps? Does Suishō have a daughter? But.. Laynee heard a rumor that the princess is still a virgin, and being untouched to be quite the treasure in her country. Hopefully Laynee will meet her again and get answers for the appearance and existence of this young woman. She's quite a hottie however~.

Parasite

[ Fascinating Target Host ]

Not much can be said yet.. Laynee heard a lot about her before she went to visit her world, and got quite intrigued to meet her in person, challenge her, make friends and.. have a bit of a fun time while they're at it. And maybe, just maybe, the dragon has secretly decided that this person gets to claim the title of 'dragonslayer'.. a title that was in the past promised to someone else, but it's a promise that couldn't be kept anymore either way. And as, outside of the 'written world', Laynee already owes 'her' more than she could ever repay, she'd be honored if that title got claimed by her. Whatever that might exactly mean anyway, only few know and Laynee would for sure not tell those who don't. And if Laynee wins that fight against Fate.. heh.. Time to challenge Fate herself!

Fate

[ Fun Kitsune God Person ]

Fate.. that Kitsune, who is something like Parasite's fu-.. ahem.. lover.. seems to be also the main God of their world or something. Like in charge of almost everything while Laynee isn't too sure if not Parasite is secretly more in charge than it looks. Or.. something like that. It still will take some time for Laynee to understand that world she just arrived in. But what Laynee knows is that Fate has an awesome sense for humor, good fights and VERY tempting bets. Oh, she can't wait to see how this turns out~!

Spiral

[ Tour Guide from the Underworld ]

This pretty young (looking) woman - probably much, much older than she looks, but who is she to talk? We're all ageless, ancient beings here - was basically the one to welcome Laynee in TOSOH.. after this quirky little thing had quickly called for her and disappeared quite fast. At first, it appeared to Laynee that Spiral might be arrogant or hostile towards her but that might have been a misunderstanding, or because of what dragons did in their home in the past. But actually, she turned out to be a very pleasant and amusing cutie to hang out with. And it's fun to watch her friendly bickering with Para like they're sisters. Had Para not interrupted them while Laynee checked out her room and Spiral wasa there on her bed.. ah well, who knows, she might still get her chance~! She will try for sure.. especially if she wins that fight against Fate.. oooh, Laynee already has plans~.
