anyways!
Macky the entertainer/host and his grumpy parrot Chase!
Some of their mechanics/notes :) :
Macky is a ringtailed lemur!
he has a short muzzle, his lower jaw unhinges
that big ball in his tummy is just a really fancy swivel joint that allows him to do things like bow down to children and also like sway to music.
the shoulder blades are supposed to reference style that presenters had back in the day with the huge shoulder pads! they don't really have another function.
his tail is a huge "tentacle" (mechanical wire) with tail parts on it basically which allows him to move it quite fluidly.
Chase the parrot is also attached to a "tentacle" (mechanical wire) which can extend and revert, its basically coiled in Macky's back.
i feel like Macky's hardware would be mostly in his head while his voice box is in his chest, while chase has the opposite, voicebox in head, hardware in body.
Macky's hands aren't really meant to pick things up, more used to emote! He has round palms, so if he really wanted to pick something up he would probaby have to use both hand or he would use Chase's beak!!
His eyes are lights that switch on whenever he's "awake"!
His "ball" and ears are glittery!
Macky is about 7 feet !
