Taldill

Taldill, "Tal"; alhoon illithid and former half-elf. Eldritch Knight Warrior/War Wizard. After magical injury sundered its connection to its colony's elder brain, Tal spent many years in hiding, never staying in one place long. Tal ultimately sought and attained a limited form of lichdom, and eventually constructed a wizard's tower for itself, where it has remained for several centuries. The tower is located in three places, tied together by a demiplane that bridges the distance. One portion sits high in the Cloud Peaks at the southern end of the Sword coast, one deep in the Underdark, and the third is in the Shadowfell. Its motives and goals are unclear, but it has, on multiple occasions, emerged to assist mortals. To the denizens of the towns near its tower's location in the Sword Coast, it's somewhat of a local myth, almost akin to a cryptid.
