Yasu Ishida (石田和 Ishida Yasu), also known as Pink Diamond (ピンク・ダイヤモンド Pinku Daiyamondo), is a student in class Class 1-A at U.A. High School and training to become a Pro Hero.

Yasu is girl of medium height with a rather mature physique. She has short, slightly curly pink hair. On the left side, the bangs are held by a small butterfly-shaped hairpin. She has thin and sharp eyes, pink in color with white pupils and short eyebrows.

During school hours, she wears the standard female uniform which consists of a gray blazer with blue-green stripes, which she usually leaves unbuttoned, a formal white shirt, red tie, blue-green pleated skirt and black knee socks. Unlike her other classmates, instead of classic brown shoes, she wears peach sneakers.

Her hero costume consists of a lilac bodysuit with full-length dark stripes on each side. Its stretches to the neck and the color turns into a dark purple, but the neckline is slightly open. Below there is a small skirt on the sides. There is also a rhombus-shaped belly button cutout. Her sleeves are dark purple and slightly sheer, its worn separately from the overall suit. On her feet she wears high boots in a delicate lilac color with dark purple soles. In a sense, Yasu's heroic costume has a lot in common with the style of Oriental dances.

In her spare time, Yasu always wears various outfits of a rather expensive brand, and mostly in pastel shades. She also adores high-heeled shoes and often puts them on if the weather permits. Yasu's regular casual wear consists of a short cut-out dress with puffed sleeves and high-heeled sandals.

Yasu looks like a calm and level-headed girl, but appearances are deceiving. She is quite sharp on the tongue, often sarcastic and is not afraid to say what is on her mind, especially all sorts of nasty things. She is quite spoiled and loves to spend time shopping and buying various clothes from mainly famous designers. She looks down on people and believed that the quirkless and people with weak quirk were rubbish and did not deserve any attention, not even pity.

Yasu was brought up in strictness, she studied etiquette, various languages of the world and read classical literature. However, she never really liked studying and always had rather mediocre grades at school.

From childhood, her parents told her that people who are lower than them in social status are scum and do not deserve respect, and for a long time she believed in this and lived with just such thoughts. After all, there were no close people next to her who could tell her that such a view of the world is not correct. She also trained with her parents every day to enhance her quirk.

Yasu is characterized by such qualities as ruthlessness, egocentrism, arrogance, cunning and, as strange as it may sound, hard work and independence. She strives not to sit on the neck of her parents, but to earn money on her own. She loves to be the center of attention and loves to be praised for her beauty. Her Instagram profile has over 100k subscribers, and she is often invited to become a model for new clothing designs. The fact that her parents are a well-known duo of Pro Hero also played a role in her popularity. If initially she liked it, then over time she realized that she was clearly in their shadow.

However, all negative qualities are just a mask behind which Yasu hides an offended and disliked little girl who, almost from childhood, suffers from constant quarrels of parents who have not loved each other for a long time, but for the sake of the image, as a hero duet, they continue live together. Yasu constantly closed herself in her room, not wanting to listen to the abuse of her parents, which is why she began to perceive hero's work in a rather negative way, because it is because of her that they are no longer happy. She also decided to hide her real feelings behind fake arrogance and sarcasm, since she did not want to share family problems, and there was simply no one with whom. Therefore, as soon as she had the opportunity, she moved out from her parents, and then settled with everyone in the dorm.

Yasu was categorically against the fact that her parents, without her opinion and demand, sent documents to the U.A. High School and, on their recommendation, she was accepted. And because of this at first she was very cold towards all her classmates, and towards some she treated with charity and looked at many from high, believing that they simply did not belong in this place. Because of her self-confidence, Yasu considered herself the strongest and most capable, because since she entered on the recommendation, then she is automatically considered the best. However, she was soon put in place. During the Sport Festival, she was so sure of her victory, but her stubbornness and self-centeredness just prevented this. She lost quite shamefully in a battle with Katsuki Bakugo, who cunningly pushed her out of the ring a few minutes after the start of the match. And then she gradually began to realize that even people from ordinary families can be better and stronger.

A special step in Yasu's personality change was the public apology to her classmates. She accepted the fact that the world does not revolve around her and that she is nowhere near as strong as she initially thought. She also had to win the trust of the guys, but the benefit of class 1-A turned out to be quite friendly and they were able to forgive her, albeit not immediately.

Gradually, Yasu began to show good qualities like compassion, empathy and a little generosity. But she could still behave a little in the style of Tsundere, which now looked a little comical, rather than spiteful towards anyone. And inwardly, Yasu is happy about this, because now she gradually opens up and shows that Yasu that she hid for so long, although it will take time for her to completely change.

Yasu sincerely loves Oriental dances, especially Belly dance, which she has been practicing almost since childhood. And initially she planned to become a dancer. After all, when she dances, she feels lightness and freedom, and she seems to go into another world.

Quirk

Diamond Form (菱形 Hishigata): Yasu's quirk gives her the ability to completely or partially transform her body into an organic diamond, in which she becomes practically invulnerable, capable of lifting weights clearly exceeding her own, and fully retains the mobility and flexibility of her body. Yasu's transformed form is anatomically identical to her normal form, except that it is made of diamond.
