The Captain

The Captain is charming and sweet, when you're on the right end of its sword. It has a soft spot for children and children are the one thing in its moral code it will not budge on. It has even been known to go out of its way to target people who have harmed children in the past. On the flipside, it can be mean and downright cruel when it's out pillaging with the rest of its crew. If it has to choose between saving someone who isn't part of its crew and a chest of jewels, it's taking the chest.

When the Captain appeared in Louise Hill, it had no memory and a heavily bleeding eyesocket. Bearnard mistook it for a monster at first, but upon realizing it needed help, tossed everything aside. The entire little village came together after that to help it on its feet. It already seemed to inherently know how to figure its way around while blind, so it must have been blind before coming to this world. Through some training practice with Fantasia and Lilia, it also discovered it had well-tuned muscle memory for combat despite its blindness. Combined with the clothing it was wearing, it decides it must have been a pirate before being pulled into this world and has set out to make a crew of its own, starting with the little quickened turnipling named Blessing.
