a doctor and the current guardian of his niece, avery - she ran away from home to join him and he's happily taken her in. they live on a converted farmhouse in the small town of seymour, somewhere in the appalachians. known to his family as conrad, to his friends as bishop, and to his clients as dr. bishop.

he grew up in seymour on a farm. he moved to a bigger city for college, but disliked it, and gladly returned to his hometown for work. he got the nose ring in college, one of his few mementos from those days. when not at work he wears a lot of florals, patterened button-ups, and sweaters. he's allergic to cats (he'll still pet and coo over them though).

he loves his friends and niece, but has always dreamt of romance... he's had several relationships and seems to be ever-waiting for "the one".
