Marbel was a Star Fisher when he was alive, living in a very deep village of other Star Fishers. Although books and water doesn't really match, most of the literature was written in slabs, making paper books very rare to his village. Marbel since from his early years always isolated himself from the people around him. He always knew he was very different from the other kin, as he saw the world in a different perspective, but failed to express this perspective to his peers. Not only that, even though he had a normal education like any other child -- being good in some subjects and bad in others -- he always had a difficulty in finding an emotional connection to people around him, making himself a bit more distant, oftenly staying alone and making other Fishers not understand what was his deal.

The Fear of being alone or isolated never really bothered Marbel, ever since he has his intense interest in literature, he is much better off reading new books or re-reading books he really enjoys, but as an adult Fisher, he never tackled the literature and worked as an engineer in the village's construction. 

It is no surprise that most people, after Marbel's rebirth, perceives him as "Mysterious". Very silent, observer of events and a history recorder, very polite and straight to the point, it is how the other StarRobbers sees him.

As most is true, he is very mature and serious, but the silentness is due to his past of awkwardness in social situations, the observer part is mostly him lost in his own mind and imagination than rather paying attention to people itself.

Of course, in a social meeting, he has a lot of trouble in interactions and paying attention to people speaking for long periods of times, so he has developed a movement we call 'tic' to keep his brain in check. It is involuntary, a snap of fingers in his right ear every time his brain is about to unfocus in a conversation or in a presentation.

Marbel also suffers from sensory overloads sometimes and as well meltdowns from emotional stress, not able to process fully negative feelings, emotional pain or stress itself. Meltdowns are always destructive in nature, hitting his own head, scratches with his claws, loud sobbing and crying as well screaming. He does his best to not have a meltdown in public, afraid of social backlash like in his early years in the Fisher Community.

Even with all of these negatives, Marbel is still a very kind person even when he can't process the emotional weight or meaning very well, he knows it is what is right. He helps people improve, he is very creative in problem solving and very smart and intelligent, knowing a lot of subjects, giving interesting options about politics and religion and having a soft spot for little creatures, like his hamsters. And, of course, he makes bank in literature critiquing and his finished novels.

• As many of you might have seen, Marbel is neuro-divergent, with Aspergers Syndrome.
• His design is inspired by Necromancer class of Diablo 3. 
• His Original Design, that was prior the necromancer inspired, was actually inspired in Markiplier's appearance and Scar. Now heavily changed, but the place of the scar is still the same.
• The idea of making him neuro-divergent was inspired by many other creators that have the same syndrome, including Aleksander Vinter (AKA Savant), and actually making him this way made him a much more believeble personality.
