Stats

Occupation: Police Officer

Quirk: Night Owl - Willow can gather shadows to manifest owl physiology. This form is weakened by sunlight, but at night she is able to glide/use talons/etc. Fully wrapping herself in shadows can boost her defense.

Limitations:

  • Passing through strong sunlight decreases her power (not bothered by artificial light).
  • Fully immersing herself in shadows limits her sense of sight and sound.
  • Gathering shadows takes some time for absorption.

Personals

Personality: Persistent / Distant / Prideful / Sarcastic / Caring

Having to stand up for herself her entire life, Willow is independent and used to making her own way and normally expects the same level of maturity from others. She can be distant even to her friends, but becomes fiercely proud of those friend's accomplishments and the accomplishments of her team. She is the easiest to befriend when working alongside her, and she sometimes has a bit of trouble separating her life and her work.

Likes: Outdated technology, tall buildings, cloudy weather, useful crafts, homemade cooking

Dislikes: Cocky attitudes, sweets, misplaced chivalry

History: Willow joined the police force wanting to see a change in attitude between cops and civilians. She never wanted to be a pro-hero, and for the longest time turned her nose up at the culture surrounding pro heroes. This lasted for about as long as it took for her future husband to woo her-- a sappy, awfully sentimental wolf of a man who was a pro hero and able to rescue others despite any perceived weaknesses in his personality or demeanor.

They had Reus when Willow was 25-- he was a wildly independent child who took much of his attitude after his mother and outside unsavory influences. His rebellious phase was out of control but neither parent was able to take enough time away from their jobs to effectively help him. They hadn't been expecting Harper when he was conceived 9 years later-- Harper was a softer child in nature, but reclusive and isolationist and preferred to spend his time in the outdoors alone.

Both boys were shaken when Willow's husband was killed in the line of duty-- she and Reus grew close, both working together in adjacent fields. Even as Reus becoming a Pro Hero scared her, she was not the type to coddle her children and she was fiercely proud of the road they had decided to take.

As Willow grew older, her work slowly shifted from patrols and field investigations to desk work and paperwork. She used to complain about being sidelined, but ever since the Boston takeover she's relented to taking it easy.
