A thief, cutpurse and retired assassin, Delphie is one of the few that came out of a profession of murder feeling guilt. She drinks to mask her sadness and joins Leoch after returning his coinpurse to him after it is stolen at the local tavern. She also has strong paternal instincts for Lestrale and competes with Leoch to raise him as a thief instead of a knight.
