PROFILE
Xena is the head of the Intelligence and Medical divisions at Headquarters. She is an Irish American woman. She is one of the few in the Mafia who went to college. She has a master's degree in computer science. Despite having no medical degree, Xena is the Mafia's most skilled medic. She is the daughter of a family friend of Maxine's second husband. While she wasn't involved in the Irish Mob, she knew Maxine through them. When Maxine needed someone who could manage the Mafia's computer systems, Xena was first in line. She is a very involved member in Maxine's Cabinet.
Xena, birth name Laura, met Oliander Valentine when she was eighteen. They fell for each other rather quickly over the common want to protect Maxine's youngest child from the horror's of Mafia life. Oliander was many years her senior, but, despite the rumors, the pair loved each other deeply and married. They had their first and only daughter when Xena was nineteen, Rhapsody. During the first attack on the Mafia, Xena lost the use of her legs. Despite the new challenge, she never lost her kind spirit and willingness to help. She always supported Rhapsody's decisions and became a strong and helpful presence in Rhapsody's Cabinet after Maxine's death.
PERSONALITY
Xena is a very kind and dedicated soul. She has a affinity for the darker things in life, but that doesn't mean she is a morose person. She is known to be a calming and motherly presence in the Mafia. Xena is among the youngest of the original members and the youngest in Maxine's Cabinet by many years. Still, she is one of the most educated and knowledgable.
At the same time, Xena isn't the easiest to talk to. She can come off rather off-putting. Not because she is mean, but because she has difficulty dealing with her own trauma that there is no more room in her mind and soul to deal with someone else's. She is deeply regretful of the trauma Rhapsody went through and holds that very close to her heart. Similarly, Xena rarely takes time for herself. After her injury, her health went on the decline. She mostly ignored Rhapsody and Oliander's urges for her to take a break or to retire. Retiring isn't in Xena's nature. She would be too bored.

- Xena has always been fascinated with Paris, France. When Viper Bordeaux joined the Mafia, she bombarded him with questions about his home city. They bonded over their shared love for Paris and became good friends.
- She had always thought that she would end up marrying a woman and never having children. Until she met Oliander.
- Xena wishes that Rhapsody hadn't married Alexei, but she respects her daughter's decision and never spoke ill of them.
- She had been a remarkably good judge of Maxine's partners and despised both Ramon Caro and Shale to the very end.
- Xena has dyed her hair many colors besides it's natural red. Her most notable has been pastel pink.
Maxine Lial
Maxine and Xena always respected each other. Even during their very brief romantic relationship, they had a certain respect for each other.
Viper Bordeaux
From the moment that they met, Viper and Xena were close friends. Viper saw Xena as a sort of daughter. Viper's son and Xena's daughter grew up as childhood friends.
Rhapsody Valentine
Despite never wanting children of her own, Xena loved Rhapsody very deeply. They were always close, but that closeness started to fade when Rhapsody started her apprenticeship.
Alexei Lial
Xena had tried to love and take care of Alexei, but (in true Alexei fashion) he made that very difficult. She soon got very tired of treating his continual overdoses and alcohol poisoning. She had never wanted or expected Alexei to marry Rhapsody.
Friendly Chemist
Having Friendly Chemist around took a big weight off of Xena's shoulders work wise. She respects his talents in the tech field. Xena is the only one in the Mafia, besides Alexei, who knows the whole truth of Friendly Chemist's past before the Mafia.
Cessna
Xena is very proud of her granddaughter and rather admires her resilience. Although they aren't particularly close, they still talk from time to time.
Ivory Bordeaux
Xena doesn't exactly agree with what Ivory grew up to become, but she knows that was his decision to make. She still cares for him and does feel a bit bad.
