Maya is anxious and apologetic most of the time, even when it's not her fault, She's standoffish towards meeting new people; when she gets too shy she gains a habit of getting snotty. Because Maya was often ignored as a child whilst her brother, Morgan, gained all the attention- she developed a habit of holding back her tears and getting red at the slightest bit of confrontation.

Like her brother, Maya has an obsession but more tame, she enjoys taking candid pictures of everyday life and of the little things. She thrives to take a picture everyday, spurred on by the urge to leave something there to say 'hey I existed!'

Past

Maya wasn't neglected as a child but the attention of everyone around her, her parents, her teachers and her friends were all on Morgan. The feeling of inferiority stuck with Maya even after Morgan left the house. After, Maya tried her hardest to impress the people around her but she thought that she couldn't replace her brother- this was confirmed when her parents sent her to the same city Morgan left to too look after him.

Whilst she too was worried, Maya didn't want to see her brother and bring up the feelings of insecurity but she didn't want to disappoint her parents.
Maya went to the city and found it beautiful, loving to take pictures of the mixture of plant life and the city. Unfortunately she isn't their to take pictures and to look after her brother, if she can even find them.

Relationships

Morgan
Maya finds Morgan to be insufferable and is frustrated that although she is younger, she has to act like the older sibling. She sometimes finds him endearing.
