Araquiel

• She is technically a goddess, but a minor one. She mostly just assists Vincent and she calls herself an angel. 
• She is deaf, and speaks through sign language or telepathy. 

Araquiel is a sweet and gentle girl, She is caring and compassionate-and endlessly understanding. As the goddess of memory, of course she is! She can see everything anyone's ever been through and knows just what they need. She's very creative and loves writing stories and poems, and enjoys things that are romantic or cute. She is easily lost in thought as she browses the memories in her eternal mental library, though you can count on her to never share them, since she rarely talks to anyone outside of her partner, Vincent. She tends to daydream and zone out a lot so keeping her attention can be difficult if you don't catch her in a more focused state.

She is extremely loving and optimistic, and never afraid to share a smile with others. Many say her smile is infectious and her energy can light up a room. She is a pacifist and doesn't hurt anyone without good cause or in order to protect her loved ones. 

She is very understanding and openminded, and whatever you've been through- she'll support you through it. She knows your good times and your bad times, and she'll always be a friend to those in need of one, even if some people view it as pretty invasive. (Though realistically, it's not really her fault...sort of just happens. And she never intentionally pries without a good reason.) 

In her life, she lived with her brother, Morgan. They were twins and extremely close, until death tore them apart after a terrible fire at the orphanage where they resided. Bitter and angry, Morgan became a demon, while Araquiel forgiving the world became an angel. They had no idea the other was still in the cycle of Soulservice until they met again in the great demon war. Unfortunately, a demon general beyond recognition- Araquiel didn't recognize her brother, and tragically- the two battled and Morgan was forced to kill his sister in this fight. 

However, sensing her potential, the creator Goddess blessed Araquiel with another life, that of a goddess serving the god of Time, Vincent. Pulling her broken and battered from the battlefield to be his assistant in a time where magic was causing things to spiral out of control. She quickly took to this life, losing her memories of her brother, the battle, and his killing her. The only thing she recalled were the very old days... playing with him as kids.

After killing her, Morgan changed his ways and felt so deeply remorseful he renounced his demon status, becoming a fallen demon instead. When he stumbled across his sister again- he was dumbfounded to find she didn't recall a thing. He tries to put that past behind them and have a relationship with her again, but so far has avoided telling her the truth. 

He and Vincent have a deep rivalry, for Morgan doesn't trust the man stealing his sister's heart away- while Vincent doesn't trust the brother who betrayed her.
