"I feel as if I'm made to understand but not to be understood."
BIOGRAPHY
Getting ""blessed"" by a higher being when she was young, she was gifted with being a scarily good empath and given a halo. She didn't want this, but what could she do? She was forced to mature at a much younger age with this gift, always being the reliable one. Kore got her scarf given to her by her parents. One day, her mother got taken away, and she hasn't seen her since. Her father got killed in front of her. She still had to be miss reliable through all of that.
THE WRITER
The Writer, which is the higher being mentioned, is the one who blessed Kore. They believed that Kore was the most suited candidate, and thought she was gonna be able to help others. She did, in fact, help others.
Despite helping others, Kore never was entirely grateful for this gift. She always bitterly thought of it as a curse, because her own emotions were usually brushed away. She has gotten used to it, and has ultimately decided to help others. Kore doesn't want to make people afraid of her, after all. So, she nods her head in an understanding way when someone vents and offers good advice.
CHILDHOOD
Kore was usually considered the weird kid in school, also being the quiet kid. She usually sat in a corner, doodling to her hearts content or reading. She often spoke of her interests, and would become overbearing at times. For one of her birthdays, her parents gifted her a scarf. Now, it's the signature bright yellow one she wears all the time.
The government never really liked Kores family, treating them with hostility because of how they were 'house pets', aka cats, living in a neighbourhood with wilder animals. One day they forced her parents to leave, where they tried to refuse, but one got taken away and the other got killed. While Kore hid from the government, she realized a boy around her age was hiding with her. His name was Scout.
