Andrew had always wanted to be a hero for as long as he remembered. He remembered watching, enthralled, with a massive crowd as one of the Rainbow Brigade's flashier battles was televised onto a digital billboard. He saw humanity's saviors defeat the beastly and degenerate with strength and tactics, but that's not all he saw. He saw glory. He saw his future.

The adulation of the masses, the praise of every politician under the sun, the unending line of new gadgets, the money... and, of course, the awesome powers.

Andrew was born to be a brigadier. He just knew it.

But, despite how obviously perfect he is for the job, his opportunity was stolen from him. The dark lord was defeated and not only not by his superior command skills, he wasn't even on the team! It just wasn't fair! Instead, Andrew's father got him a low-ranking job at his advertisement firm. He did, and does, well.

Well. 

Not great. Not bad.

Not promoted. Not fired.

Mediocre. 

Forgettable.

The worst thing to be. 

Not for long, though, no. Andrew has plans. He'll win over the Brigade.

He isn't going to let a little thing like 'an Era of Unprecedented Peace' get in his way.

  he's a huge fan of 'Atomic Prismatic Heroes!' (a cartoon based on the Rainbow Brigade) despite it's 'girly' reputation.

  he's a bit of a history buff and enjoys collecting war memorabilia

  he does actually 'train', mostly speed-walking around his neighborhood with five pound weights, but he does it at night because he's afraid of being stared at.

  not much of a visual artist, but his older brother did teach him to play the guitar to an amateur's level
