-does not know how to take care of her hair and not willing to learn 

-carries around a butterfly knife 

-impulsive, optimistic, motherly, a worrywart.

-her glasses are constantly slipping off of her face bc the frames are too big. they don't perfectly fix her failing vision, but they help a little, hence why she wears them. 

-her clothes are grossly oversized 

-has no shoes due to her old ones wearing down so badly they had to be trashed. they haven't found a replacement pair that fits her well enough yet 

-fiercely protective of martin and catherine, despite the fact that martin is physically stronger than her 

-martin is trying to teach her to sing and dance
