A brash, yet surprisingly patient young woman who can never seem to find a normal job. Ingrid left home pretty much as soon as she finished high school, stealing the family car and totaling it in a ditch somewhere in the Australian outback. Ever since, she's been bouncing from place to place, trying to find something that will center her.
Ingrid has recently also gained the responsibility of looking after her eight-year old half sister, Bee. To be honest she's not positive she's cut out for the job, but avoiding the kid will just make things worse so... fuck.
Quick personality notes:
- Blunt, open, very little filter. Ingrid isn't usually a mean person, but her directness tends to intimidate or offend.
- Inarticulate. Ingrid struggles to put her own feelings into words, and tends to use confusing analogies or broken metaphors when trying to explain herself.
- Understanding. Despite her terrible way of words, she catches on quick to how others are feeling. (That doesn't necessarily mean she cares, though.)
- Trusting. Ingrid has been exposed to lots, and I mean lots of weird shit while on the job. She tries to give every wild story she hears the benefit of the doubt, though this makes her look extremely gullible as a result.
- Gets very loud and even more incoherent when frustrated. Won't resort to violence unless someone's life is in danger, but it freaks Bee right out.
