Jack's a 30 year old forgery artist who dresses like a noir detective. He's also entirely greyscale for reasons I can't get into here -- but those around him have the theory that his ego is so powerful it turns the world around him to film noir. (i swear i designed this guy like five years before spider-verse was announced)
As his name suggests, Jack Haas has a terrible personality; often taking potshots at others and doing reckless things in the name of "dont tell me what to do"itude. This may or may not be due to a major inferiority complex -- but nobody likes him enough to actually try and puzzle it out.
He's also a decent saxophonist.
Clarissa seems to know him, even though he swears he's never met her. Finch is his boss these days, and probably the only person he'll take instructions from. Ingrid is his co-worker, which means she often has to put him in a headlock to stop him from getting killed by aliens.
