Background

Ruri believes she is a real life angel who’s come from the heavens to grace and protect those around her! She came to this conclusion because she’s always been called an angle her whole childhood. Both of her parents are managers for big performers, so she tagged along on jobs a lot in her youth. Her unique eyes and hair color caught many people’s attention, she was usually nicknamed angel by most. She has always adored performing and had a talent for it since she was little! She enjoys playing the part of a host during club activities and feels the most at home during those times. However, the pressure of keeping her heavenly act up can get stressful with how much perfection means to Ruri.

Because of her angel complex and experience with “perfect” performers, she strives for perfection in herself! But, this also means any mistakes or failures have an extremely harsh effect on her. Ruri claims she has nothing to fear with the power of the heavens behind her, but Ruri is truly terrified of making mistakes. Her little sister, Yasu, is someone who can make Ruri feel much better about herself quite quickly. Though, Ruri has a tendency to sit on negative thing. Through Gakkyo and people like Kunie and Momom, Ruri slowly begins to learn that it's ok to make mistakes and not value her flaws.
