Hydra and River

A girl raised in a small village on the Mediterranean Sea who got robbed and kidnapped when a notorious gang of pirates came and trashed their village. When they did it, they released smoke bombs that had some chemicals in it which blinded Hydra for the rest of her life. She now is on the ship and is considered to be a pirate, though she usually is the one coming up with plans and staying on the boat 24/7. She depends on her familiar River who is a sassy little water wolf who actually can use her senses to get around better than Hydra can. The 2 are very close and have an inseparable bond.

River is a water wolf who is blind and bonded with Hydra. She protects her and makes sure that she doesn’t get taken advantage of and therefore comes off as being snappy and is the motherly figure between the 2 of them.
