had a mental breakdown when too much stuff happened at once; illya being perfectly happy without him, alina in coma bc of his mistake during a mission, yulian inching closer to his "expiry date" and nina becoming more and more independent from him.
negative thoughts kept creeping in, hyperventilation kicked in and eventually he re-experienced the process of becoming a double and was so very close to failing it. nina found him and did her best to calm him down, provide comfort and reassurance. but also finally setting her boundaries. big character development for both of the emotional wrecks uwu
