Galiene

In a splash of salt water and seafoam appears the lord of the seas, that constant sharpness in their eyes the same as ever. What could one say about Galiene that hasn't been said a hundred times before?

Given their disposition, you might presume Galiene's appearance simply fails to match their role, and rather than something as flexible as water, they're the deity of something more rigid - Earth, stone, or perhaps even a concept like law or justice.

You would be wrong.

But at the same time, perhaps you're just looking at it the wrong way. They're a stickler for the rules (or at least their perception of them), and can be harsh, and even cruel, but perhaps their rule over the oceans is less that they command the seas, and more that the waters command them - Their waves, fickle and uncaring of those who find themselves within their currents, reflected in the god who holds sway over them. Or maybe Galiene was just always that way. It's hard to say, really. But the reality is that that aspect of the ocean's temperament, for one reason or another, is reflected in its master.

That's not to say they have no soft side, of course - When something interests them, they can become quite passionate about it, and they do have a genuine appreciation for those who respect them! But it's a rare day when they show these sides of themself.

At the end of the day, while few would say it to their face... Truthfully, Galiene's just a bit of a cynical, negative person, with a tendency to see the worst in all those around them, and act in turn.
