A young individual constantly in the shadow of his more successful parents. His mother is a powerful ice elemental taking charge of her realm with an iron fist and his father surpasses many magic users with his ancient experiences and wisdom, Compared to them Ivan Whitlock or ‘Ivan The Blue’ as he prefers to be called Is anything but remarkable on the contrary he is regarded as a disappointment by both of his parents.

His stride to gain their approval as a child was met with mocking and emotional abuse. Ivan grew to have issues with his self-esteem but was never one to show such 'weakness' in the face of his strict parental figures. rather, he wears the mask of an overconfident and entitled young man. Jabs to his pride further exacerbate his decline in self-worth which comes out as resentment and a grudge that could last a lifetime!

Compensating for the lack of magical prowess Ivan turned to petty crime stealing any magical item that could give him an advantage over his peers. All in an attempt to show up his unforgiving magical parents that he is worth something! However, Ivan doesn't plan his heists very well. Only plotting one method to obtain the object of his desire is often his downfall, Ivan is always thwarted by the original owners of said magic item or his long-standing rivalry with a group called 'the agency' Failure doesn't hinder him from other attempts, he is determined to make all those who mocked him beg for his forgiveness.

The attraction to Vi was almost instant on his side of things. He was drawn to both her beauty and powerful magic, flirting with her any chance he got. Although he was sure his feelings were one-sided he was surprised that she felt the same. Ivan views Vi's hard shell as a part of her charm and takes her words to heart.
