Age: 19 years (Also, he’s a species of later-evolved tabaxis, meaning that he has around the same, or more, life expectancy as a human.)
Bio: Bastian (Short for Sebastian, because he thinks Seb or Sebbie are stupid nicknames, and he doesn’t like his full name.) is a delivery boy for a small postal office a few towns away from the larger hamlet of Petelburough.
Being a tabaxi, he is used to weird looks or reactions to him when he comes to deliver mail, especially when he does so in the aforementioned town, as it is mainly human dominant, and the oddest character they tend to have around is Alan Turinik, the owner of Billy’s, the busiest bar in the area. Because while they see all sorts of creatures going in and out of Billy’s on the regular, they never usually have to come face-to-face with something that looks like a cat person. Bastian isn’t bothered, though, he actually enjoys the attention to a certain extent, especially when he gets to befriend the kids he sees on his usual mail route. He’s kind of like that cool cousin most people have that lets you treat him like a jungle gym.
Bastian knows a lot of people, but doesn’t have very many friends. His closest friend is Alan, who he also sees as a mentor (or maybe more, considering Alan is the only confidant he really has due to never knowing his parents and having to live in his town‘s orphanage until he was 18.). He hopes to one day go out and have adventures just like Alan once did, even though Alan heavily advises him against it because of ”the things he could lose”, though Bastian has no idea what Alan means by that except that he thinks it has something to do with the dude that Alan’s bar is named after.
(Also, I will so have him drag Alan back into a life of adventuring, yes please. Alan‘s going to end up being a sort of father-figure for the orphan tabaxi. I am actually really really hoping I get this guy because omg I live for silly character interactions like this.)
