Edgar is a calm and collected helpie living together with his husband Reese in an old mansion. As a helpie he specializes in the library section of the building, keeping it clean and taking care of the books, sometimes even fixing them if the covers are becoming loose or the pages start falling. Generally rather introverted, Edgar usually isn’t the life of the party but he mingles with others surprisingly well. His calm way of speaking and expressing his thoughts and opinions is considered his greatest virtue. However, socializing wears him out fast, and he can be quite awkward when it comes to simple pleasantries.

Very much in love with his husband, the two are usually seen together. Edgar, albeit the younger of the two, is often the gentle but much needed voice of reason to the much more frivolous and impulsive Reese, whose ideas and fixations are often too big of a bite for him.
