🏕 Vergil

he was born with the ability to see souls all around him, which is a lot for a child to behold. his dad having a bunch of souls of the people he murdered in his past life tethered and following him around like a dark shadow did not help at all. his father dealt with all the most paranormal and fantastical creatures and beings you could possibly imagine, but never resorted to killing any of the beings he's come across, even if they were cruel. this led vergil to assume his father could never have the guts to do the right thing if it came down to it. also his dad's screaming souls were downright uncomfortable to be around. one day, the little guy simply had enough and left, right as the world was unraveling and hurling towards chaos. he came across a watch tower and decided to make it his home, undisturbed by the chaos that goes on below. it was fairly peaceful until an annoying little man aggressively barged into his life and disturbed his little peace in the lonely watch tower. at least they can both (kind of) sign to each other and be friends.
