The modern-day, fashion-loving Japanese Oni girl
Yasu Himura, better known by her nickname "Ondori" (Japanese meaning rooster), is a young but tough Oni demon who makes a living as a bare-knuckle brawler on the streets of modern Japan. She is tough as nails and has a fiery spirit to match, always looking for her next challenger in the busy world of present-day Tokyo. Despite her rough attitude, she has a keen interest in street fashion, and is never caught out in public in anything less than her best sukajan embroidered silk jacket. She earned her nickname Ondori for the fighting roosters that adorn her favorite jacket, as well as her cut-throat approach to life in and out of the fighting ring. Though she is a ferocious Oni demon on the outside, she still has the heart of a rebellious young woman, and can't resist popping a bubblegum bubble in the face of her opponents after she beats them to the ground.
