His irises glow when he uses magic. The horns are a symbol of his role as ruler; he was not born with it and they are not part of his anatomy.
Profile
A summary of some historical events and information about Prophet's Land can be found in Rage of Fire's chapter two, Prophet's Land.
Straightforward, blunt, ignorant, spoiled, lazy
His sclera turns black and his irises glow when he uses magic that invites and stimulates prophecies to enter his head; they return to a normal human color and he looks human when not used. His appearance and magic are a source of fear by foreigners and natives, so he does not travel out much. The horns are a symbol of his role as ruler, and used to channel electricity and lightning so it will be focused. It is also his crown passed down by his grandfather; they are physical objects and not part of his anatomy.
He is not the best prophet lord to his small island of 10,554 bored, needy people. Said to be a workaholic on the most dangerous and stressful of days, he is surprisingly lazy, yet extravagant as a ruler. Often he will spend his times of spare rest, of which there was too much of, playing with his lightning magic, striking innocent wooden posts and abandoned properties. He has a woeful habit of ignoring or avoiding more visions than can be counted by the average person, and being regularly chastised as a result of said neglect; no matter how threatened or bribed, he would not open his mouth if he didn't want to.
