About
WARNING: This character touches upon subjects such as neglect, emotional abuse, anxiety, self-loathing and depression.
Her name was given to her by her mother, who thought of her as her own little miracle. A little piece of heaven, sent down to earth just for her. As perfect as perfect can be.
But the uphill battle started early on, when Safe Haven was born with a birth defect. While not life-threatening, she would never be able to fly. She would never be like a normal Pegasus.
This should have been okay.
This shouldn't have become a problem.

Likes
Listening to Others Conversations are tricky, so when somebody is willing to allow her to listen rather than partake, it is a worry less on her mind.
Coding It is just something soothing about writing something that might seem non-sensical, and then create something coherent.
Sappy Movies Sometimes watching the drama in movies can give a relief to one's own drama in real life.
Soft Things Burying oneself into a pile of soft pillows, stuffed animals or similar and just doing nothing... Is pure bliss.
Dislikes
Herself Self-loathing is ingrained due to years of trouble she percieves as being her fault.
Attention Being the center of others' gazes is scary, and often causes issues.
Her Wings Pretending that they exist is easier than acknowledging that only one is there.
Commotion Loud voices, upset people... It means somebody did something wrong, and that someone is often her.
Forced Conversation Too many things to think about, too big of a risk to make a mistake.
Her Family They'd be better off without her. Are they even her family at this point?
Messy/Unlabeled Code How to even make progress when you don't know where anything is?
- She is a selective mute, and communicates mainly via simple gestures or via a notepad she tends to carry around.
- She seldom smiles, and often looks tired.
- She tends to keep a respectable distance to those she doesn't know, and is not too fond of physical contact.
- She hates it when others pay too much attention to her. Especially regarding her wing, or lack thereof.
- She is more comfortable with listening to others speak than having an active part in a conversation.
- She is quick to remove herself from a situation where tension is rising, and voices alongside it.
Design
Notes
- Safe Haven is missing her LEFT wing.
- There are still feathers on her left shoulder, a remnant from when she had a wing there.
- The scar left behind after her left wing was removed is not normally visible, her coat hides it.
- Whenever she is outside, around strangers or people she doesn't feel comfortable around, she covers her body somehow. This could be with a hoodie, a blanket or other.
