Sludgeshifter (Jerry)

Goey shadowy cryptid creature known for roaming around foresty areas, sometimes wandering into residential places. It tends to lurk at the dead of night on humid days, looking for god knows what (food? victims? friends?). Its mostly harmless but WILL go apeshit if you hurt anything that they care about. Their claws are small but effective, and they're known most for swallowing things of any size whole, only leaving behind a slimey, oily residue. It can change shape at will, but remains a dark goey silhouette. Jerry is a name given to them by a human friend (human character is still a WIP), but overall they are refered to as the Sludgeshifter (like Siren Head or Mothman). What is its purpose? Where did it come from? Are there more of them out there? We just... dont... know...

Height ranges anywhere between 5'9"-11'5" since they can shapeshift! Average height spotted is around 7'8"
