Gaius initially appears as rather withdrawn or cold to others who are only just getting to know him. He's not easy to approach, and his replies tend to be curt and may come off as rude if you're not used to it-- he doesn't mean it that way, most times. He often keeps his distance due to the type of work he does as he doesn't want to accidentally get someone involved when they don't have to. The easiest and simplest way to get Gaius' attention long enough to get to know him is to offer him any sort of candy or sweet-- he'll usually open up quite a bit, although he still won't reveal anything he deems sensitive information.

He can be quite suave and charming when he wants, although in the end he's still the awkward thief who doesn't really know how to handle significant others. Thankfully his current mate, Gypsy, is more than capable of handling his odd habits and quirks, and they get along flawlessly despite them. She is also the only Fooling he won't swipe something from if he wants it, and is as honest as he possibly can be with her... she is the only Fooling he has ever been like this with, and because of this Gaius is incredibly protective of his little blue love.

He has a close connection with Ame's Mafia Family, and has been seen wearing her family's emblem more than once, however unlike the other members it is never consistent. It's assumed that it's due to his "temporary" status -- that Ame only hires him when she needs work done, and he wears her insignia out of respect and loyalty. What work he's hired for...? No one's caught him to find out.

Gaius was primarily always alone in his early life, and learned to survive any way he could-- primarily, this was through stealing and using his silver tongue to get his way. When he was small no one expected it, and he got plenty of practice for when he grew-- now even though he's a full grown Fooling who stands out in a crowd no one ever catches him in the act. He has been arrested on only a couple occasions when he was betrayed and blamed by those he had tried to work with-- which is why he now strictly works solo, and will never accept a partner request for his work.

He is actually quite wealthy, but he doesn't show this off, and lives a very humble life. Although he can come across a bit cocky when his skills are challenged, and he won't hesitate to show them they're wrong. The only one who can keep him from doing so is his mate, Gypsy, whose opinion means the world to him-- he will even decline jobs if she says she doesn't like it. Shimo, his best friend, often tells him he's whipped, but Gaius doesn't take it to heart as he fully believes him and Gypsy are soulmates... they were just too eerily similar for them not to be, and their personalities worked together perfectly. Not that he'll say that out loud.

• He grew up on his own, and is very self sufficient due to this
• Despite doing some illegal things, such as theft, he has never done anything bad enough for severe punishments. More often than not he gets stuck with community service-- if he gets caught at all
• It's believed he met Ame through his previous employers recommendation-- she is the only employer he considers a friend and will do favors for without any fees
• If you really need his assistance, he will accept payment partially in candy or sweets, in rare cases he'll take the entirety of the payment in such a way
• If you aggravate him/annoy him, chances are your fee is going to be much higher than normal if you later choose to hire him. If you call him out on that he'll simply tell you it's a "Service Fee for Difficult Employers"-- typically, it's quite hefty but he knows if they really need his skills they'll pay up
• Gaius could eat non-stop for an entire day without moving much at all and not gain any weight-- his metabolism is ridiculous, but it also makes it so he almost always needs something to munch on
• He gets incredibly hangry if left hungry for too long
• His best friend is Shimo-- who owns his favorite ice cream and sweets shop around, he'll go out of his way to make time to visit his friend's shop
