Bio: Danny was once a human scientist inspired by "Frankenstein" to find the secret to immortality. He discovers the existence of Cruxes; a species of ghosts and other otherworldly beings that can be summoned to inhabit the bodies of the deceased with the help of a witch, who eventually kills him and uses him as the host for a Crux. Now cursed to live in his decaying castle in isolation, Danny slowly descends into madness, and eventually breaks out, of his home, where he delights in wandering the nearby woods at night, stalking travelers and terrifying the locals. Now, in the 21st century, still bound to the since-modernized village he once lived in, he has become the equivalent to the boogieman; terrifying little children before they go to sleep. He is successful in this business, until he tries to scare a bereaved little girl named Lenore, who thinks of him as more of her "imaginary friend". He eventually gives up on trying to scare her, and becomes her best friend and protector.
