Profile

(Character sheet and concepts created by ACE/Astra/Astral Catatonic Escapism)

Catasterismi, nicknamed Asteri, is one of many living things launched into space as an attempt to save the living beings of Earth in a chaotic manner just before the Earth was destroyed. Afterwards, Asteri, and the many lifeforms that followed her similar fate, began to float aimlessly through space.

Asteri is smarter than the average cat, having been given some treatments to her brain to help it grow past a typical cat's limits, thus allowing her to learn more complex knowledge such as languages, layered concepts, and academic topics. This led to her beginning a travel log in which she kept audio and written notes of her travels through space. Luckily, all suits shot into space were equipped with an automatic feeding tube that delivers nutrient paste. Thanks to the tub not dispensing unless sucked upon, no food paste spills out unless the user intentionally causes this to happen. Any waste resulting from the food is automatically converted into fuel for the thrusters. The fuel converter uses the carbon dioxide.

Asteri has not only gained growth in her brain, but also had other scientific improvements on her body withstand space, such as alterations to organs that allow a greater ability to withstand inertia. Because of this, Asteri is larger than the average cat, weighing and sizing at about a Maine Coone's size despite being a mixed breed with originally much smaller sizing.
